Meet Dr. Oran Pachter
The Human Side
Dr. P grew up as the middle child of 3 brothers in NYC and attributes his becoming captain of his high school basketball team to the countless playground pick-up games they played in the parks.
His #1 role model is easily his Dad who’s list of accomplishments as a world-renowned medical surgeon would be too long to list. Dr. P credits his Dad for instilling in him a commitment to outstanding patient clinical care that never loses sight of generosity, care and love of the individual.
Dr. Pachter is a loving husband to his wife Arielle and a proud, dedicated, and absolute legit #girldad to their four beautiful daughters Eliora, Tehila, Dalya and Nesya.
Although Dr. P is very gentle, friendly and kind he is a huge fan of boxing and MMA. Most likely this passion is a direct result from seeing every Rocky movie as a child, most notably – Rocky IV, way more times than he’d like to admit!
He also recently rejuvenated his childhood passion for skiing on a recent trip with some of his orthodontic buddies and can’t wait to hit the slopes again!
The Medical Side
Dr Pachter graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA degree in Biology from Yeshiva University. He was then awarded the prestigious Dean’s Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement to attend one of the only Ivy League Dental Schools in the country at the University of Pennsylvania. From there, he came back to his NYC roots for his specialty training in orthodontics at NYU. While there, among other honors, he was granted the Award for Outstanding Research. Dr. Pachter then independently went through the voluntary rigorous process to become Board Certified with the American Board of Orthodontists.
